Cambridge Who's Who Member, Dr. Joni Carley co-leads Visioning and Values Workshop for United Nations staff

{Media, PA} - Dr. Joni Carley, owner of international coaching and consulting firm, Wisdom at Work, has recently co-lead the first of a series of seminars for United Nations staff. The outgoing under-secretary general, Ambassador Chowdhury, who served as second in command to U.N. Secretary General, Kofi Annan, introduced the seminar on Visioning and Values by suggesting that the United Nations has lost its heart and soul. According to attendees, the seminar provided a much needed forum for rekindling the passions that drove their initial commitment to international civil service, a need underscored in Ambassador Chowdhury's opening remarks about UN recruitment and mission issues. The Visioning and Values workshop series is slated to continue providing international civil servants with the opportunity to re-invigorate the United Nations Charter at the UN in New York and other UN locations throughout the world.

The workshop was sponsored by International Visioning Collective, IVC, a non-profit organization that provides a space for the exchange, development, and experimentation of ideas and practices towards a positive universal-values-based international system. Dr. Carley, a resident of Media, PA, has devoted her life to understanding personal and cultural potential.
