He has performed over 3,000 surgical corrections of refractive anomalies and over 3,000 surgeries for cataract, glaucoma and corneal diseases. In addition, Dr. Arvan has presented 14 innovative proposals for diagnostics, treatment and scientific experiments.

He became involved in his profession after being raised in a family of chemists and physicians, in which he learned to love and respect nature from an early age. During his youth he was fascinated by zoology and chemistry and entered a high school that had a biological and chemical emphasis.
