What do you feel separates you from the rest of the professionals in your industry?:
Mr. Allen's ability to get to the real problem very quickly then to offer concrete solutions on how to improve the situation are what separates him from his peers. He is very direct, very straightforward and can be at times very blunt on how to deal with things. He not there to be nice but to do a job. He will hold the person accountable; together, they will lay out a plan of action which he expects to be followed to the best of that person’s ability. If he believes someone isn't putting in 100 percent he will tell them.

He really and truly cares about people and wants to see them become the very best they can, to be happy with their lives, as some are living their lives in quiet desperation, not knowing who or which way to turn for help and guidance.

When people hire Mr. Allen to coach them with their small business, they aren't hiring him to say: “Oh gee, the customer said he doesn't like me so it’s OK not to do anything else we talked about.” He is not there to be their friend, wife, or husband, he is there to help them succeed and if it means dealing out some tough love on his behalf, then so be it.

The proven results speak for themselves: a heavy truck salesman getting a $4,000 increase in his commissions in just two weeks; a small business man and his mother in BC, Canada being able to save $65,000; and him making sales of $1 million, $1.75 million, $3 million and $5 million to one client in the security field, these are just a couple of examples.
What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
One of his greatest career achievements was when he worked for the Henderson Directory a business resource book sold to the various businesses. The Vice President of the company contacted him to let him know the person he trained reached a 125 year sales record because of his advice. He's also very proud of the 15 years as operations manager in the security industry with both Garda Security and the North Sask. If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?:
Tony Robins - he has had such a great influence on so many people's lives - helping them to grow and change, to discover who they really are and what they are capable of. he teaches people to look past their current situations and to hold in their minds the person they want to become.
Expanded Biography:
After being given a second chance at life, he decided to make it his mission to help small business owners give their businesses hope for another chance at success. He has taught hundreds of clients how to decrease their bottom line; work as a team instead of a group of individuals; increase their productivity; decrease their turn over; and help them get an extra 15 to 57 percent more revenue from their current customers/clients without spending any more money.

By helping business owners to create and generate tens of thousands extra in revenue from sales, Mr. Allen is stronger, more focused, happier and more grateful than ever for the profound privilege of working with CEO's, entrepreneurs and small business owners to give them a second chance with their businesses.

Mr. Allen philosophy on life is summarized by the following: “Have an attitude of gratitude and make it very, very easy to win and very, very hard to lose” there will always be something positive or good in every situation no matter how tragic or whatever it is. Maybe the only thing you did right today was get up – that’s a plus because a lot of people can’t even do that. Every day you can get up and look down and see your feet it’s a great day. Be grateful for what you have and always be striving to make this world a better place to live – even in just your own little space in this world.

When you are on a long boring drive or trip going somewhere – take time to look around and really see what’s out there. Because I would bet you anything that a blind person would be very grateful to be able to see it no matter how bleak or boring you may think it is.

As the late and great Steve Jobs said in 2005 during a Stanford commencement ceremony; Jobs talked about his sense of mortality was a major driver behind that vision. “I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make big choices in life. Because almost everything – all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure – these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only which is truly important.

Remember that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.”

Don’t take life too seriously be willing to laugh at yourself – life is too short to get hung up on the small stuff. And yes it is all small stuff. Ask yourself this question: “How much is (whatever the current situation is) that’s causing you all the concern at this moment really going to matter in 10 years? I bet you dollars to doughnuts that it won’t matter at all.

If that’s the case then why are you losing sleep over it? You can’t solve a problem when you’re in the same state of mind as that which caused it. So learn to change your thinking state to one of exploring for solutions and away from the problem mode of thinking. Make your "WHY"S" so strong so that you'll be able to overcome anything that life throws at you.

Learn to be grateful for everything you have in your life – the good, the bad and the ugly – they can all teach you valuable lessons you may need to learn. Live every day as if it were your last, work every day as though you will live forever.
Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:

He knew that with all of his experiences in the professional world and all the incontrovertible lessons about what it takes to succeed, even when the odds are incredibly stacked against you, that he could not fail. As a result of the lessons he learned from nearly dying and being able to survive, he was not going to let the businesses he worked with fail, either.
