Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
There are numerous noteworthy expereinces throughout Ms. Guye's career. . . One of the most memorable is that of a timid, little girl who began speech / language therapy with Ms. Guye while in kindergarten; this little girl lacked oral communication and academic skills. However, through receiving speech / language therapy from Ms. Guye during elementary school, diligent study, support from this child's mother and her other teachers, evenutally, this student became an honor's student in high school and through college.
This once painfully shy little girl, grew up to became a confident young woman. She completed her undergraduate studies ultimately, and continued through graduate school obtaining an advanced degree conclusiively as a Nurse Practitioner!

Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
Ms. Guye became involved in her profession following research of several professions during high school; by 16 years of age,
she knew that she wanted to become a Speech / Language Pathologist after completion of college and graduate school!
Now after more than 30 years of professional experience, she has remained extremely motivated and passionate about her chosen profession; this is still what she would want to do profesionally after more than three decades of employment in this field!
Extended Bio Profile:
From a small child through the present, Ms. Guye has always had a deep appreciation and respect for her parents, as well as her elders. On many occasions, Ms. Guye has learned valuable insight and life lessons from her parents, as well as other significant older people with whom she has been honored to interact.
Ms. Guye grew up participating actively in church youth group activities which allowed her to learn biblical principles that have helped her navigate ultimately in a successful manner throughout her life's journey.
From a professional standpoint, Ms. Guye has always gained personally and spiritually from the clients with whom she has associated. She has maintained a deep commitment and love for her profession throughout more than 30 years of service as a
Speech / Language Pathologist!
Ms. Guye is sensitive to the needs of her clients and, as a result,
is able to respond with compassion, patience and professionalism. She gains particular inspiration and wisdom from the adults and seniors to whom she now provides speech / language therapeutic services.

Determination of Baseline Functioning in these Previously Listed Areas. Writing Daily & Weekly Reports to Document Clients' Functional Level, as well as Progress toward Goals in Accordance with Federal and State Guidelines; Providing Rehabilitation Services to Adults for Improvement of Oral Communication and Thinking Skills, including Development of Improved Nutritional Oral Intake
