The highlight of her career was being invited to London, England to present her work to an international group of professionals at the Barbican Center. The paper and several others were subsequently published in the International Journal of Commercial and Industrial Training.

She attributes her success to her people skills, genuine concern and skill development perspective.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved human resource management when she accepted a job as a training officer with the City of Winnipeg after spending three years as a high school business teacher in the public school system and a business administration instructor at Red River College. Her experience in curriculum design was a core competency needed to develop management training for city departments and police service to ensure succession plans could be enabled.
