Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
Just before I began my web design career, I had earned an MBA from Simmons College School of Management where I had excelled at Marketing. The business and marketing information I had learned there were became very useful in my new field -- the Internet -- Marketing is often useful in the Design of Web Sites and the Business aspect in the design of web applications. These, and my BA in Art melded together perfectly for this new field.

She attributes her success to her love for her profession.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
I had worked as the Manager of 16 paralegals in the Law Department at Digital Equipment Corporation when I was laid off. At the time the State of Massachusetts was offering, to people who had been laid off from hardware companies, retraining in software. I took a job with a start-up in a new field about which I knew nothing -- the Internet. I taught myself everything about web Front End Design and Programming, from scratch, and eventually took courses to add to my knowledge. The trick has been to keep up with the changes, but it's fun -- a lot more fun than working in a legal environment. She became involved in \
her profession as a way of reinventing herself.

Ms. Adams also worked as a paralegal manager for seven years. She is the proud grandmother of Maxwell.
