Ms. Azumi is an Italian-born woman who is now married to a Japanese man. She formerly worked for UNESCO. After retiring from the United Nations, she decided to become involved in art. She was influenced by her mother’s artistic talents, which she perfected in Tuscany in her youth. Ms. Azumi has worked with and studied Japanese art for more than 30 years.
